This Memorial Day is Different

This Memorial Day is different from all the others. My nephew Aaron is a Marine currently serving in Afghanistan. He is set to arrive back home on July 1.

My father served during World War II in the Army, a staff sergeant stationed in Panama.

In the Bible, Aaron was the brother of Moses who led the Israelites in battle.

Marines are first in, last out.

On this Memorial Day, I remember all those who served and gave their lives in service, and all those who are serving now. I pray they all make it home safe.
