I just had a molar pulled. Ouch, and double ouch. I’ll spare you the details, but it took a long time. Ouch.
Bywater Books’ own Sally Bellarose just won the short fiction contest sponsored by the Saints and Sinners literary festival.
Bellarose’s extraordinary debut novel, The Girls’ Club, will be released through Bywater in May 2011.
Let’s see. What else makes me feel good even when in extreme physical pain? Bywater has gained the rights to the US release of Val McDermid’s Trick of the Dark, to be released in September 2011.
On April 2,2011, I’ll be doing a joint reading with Cynn Chadwick and Fay Jacobs at the famous Malaprops bookstore in Asheville, NC. If you are in the area, please stop by.
Many, many thanks to the incomparable Cynn Chadwick for arranging this. http://www.nappingporchpress.com/
Did I already mention that you can now purchase Miss McGhee and Last Chance at the Lost and Found in ebook format? I am so excited about that.
My missing tooth really, really hurts, so you can see that I am very excited about these things that make me feel better.
It is finally warming up here, and I hope that is true in your part of the country too.
